Mark and I are so shocked and saddened to hear about this. We loved Mike. He was a fabulous person--kind, smart, funny, and gentle. Our hearts are broken for Dee, Monique, and Derek.
We have so many good memories of times together--cooking, eating, and laughing; traveling to Austin and Seattle; visiting in Colorado and Virginia, going to hear live music together.
We are just mystified by this news. He's been robbed of so many good years.
We will hold him in our hearts forever.
Love always,
and with deep sorrow and condolences,
Amy and Mark
