I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Baldwin´s passing. We enjoyed some fun and educating times. I loved His dry sense of humor and stories. Such a kind and positive man.It was a pleasure to see him every time. Thank you Dr. Baldwin for your wisdom.

I learned of Peter´s passing today. A sad and joyous day. I know that Peter´s spirit shines bright, day and night, with love for all to see...

When I was pregnant with my second daughter, Peter did a demonstration of trance work on both of us. He intended to mend a rupture in our group practice by showing us some hypnotic strategies and he did much more than that, too. Peter (I am not making this up) spoke directly to Molly who kicked gleefully in response while I sat deep under, along with the rest of the group, I suspect.. This was a transformative life experience I will never forget. Rest in peace, Peter.

I was a student of Peter's in the late 90's. His hypnosis class was a turning point in my life. Some of the greatest insights I've ever had, came on the long drive home after this class. Peter was mesmerizing, playful, creative, inspiring, brilliant and kind. He taught me on a variety of levels, that "Life is a creative process of holding on and letting go." I have carried this mindset along my journey ever since and have imparted these words to countless students along the way. I have always thought of Peter as a major part of my development as a Psychologist. I will forever "hold on" to the memory of his infectious positive energy and the important impact he had on my life.

As an angsty teen who was too cool for everything, I was determined to hate therapy. I think that broke down almost immediately as I sat in the comfortable room opposite Peter. His unique approach was entirely unexpected and so easy to work with. He was so warm and joyful. I felt like I was blessed to do my work with Santa Claus. A gentler, sweeter man I have never known. I was scared, as we all are, to reveal my deepest fears and darkest demons to anyone. Peter always seem to have a ready response that fit and helped me to move forward. It was like falling from the sky and being caught by a soft feathered bird.
I have not seen Peter in 20 years or more. But I've thought of him often. I wondered how he was doing and felt grateful for his help and enjoying time in his company. That's what our sessions felt like: just enjoying time in each other's company.
