Keith Neal Barton, 53, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital. A resident of Poseyville, he was born April 15, 1963, in Pirmasens, Germany, to Franklin and Viola Barton.
He graduated from Bosse High School in 1982 and Ivy Tech in 1992. On Aug. 6, 1983 he married Colleen Stegman. He was employed in maintenance at Westech Fence. Keith was a devoted husband and father, an avid fisherman, hunter, and a Colts fan. He was president of Boosters of North Posey Performing Arts.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen; four daughters, Courtney (Brandon) Popper; Erika (Matt) Harter; Sara (Devan) Overley, all of Evansville; and Kelly Barton, Poseyville; a sister, Jill (Gary) Kauffman, North Augusta, S.C.; three brothers, Terry (Connie) Barton, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Rex (Debbie) Barton, Evansville; and Kim (Barb) Barton, Palm Bay, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, and will continue Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. until service time.
Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Boosters of North Posey Performing Arts, P.O. Box 133, Wadesville, IN 47638.

Rex and family I am so very sorry to hear about Keith.I had no idea you two were related when we worked together at the Post Office. Keith and I went to Bosse together and even though he was a few years older we still had some of the same friends .So very sorry for your loss.
