Mike my brother, words cannot begin to express my sorrow at hearing of your passing. I will always remember our time in Florida as "neighbors." Those times are burned into my memory forever. I know we will see each other again. That belief will sustain me until we see each other again. God keep you in his arms. Love you Mike.

Hey Ripper, We sure had some good times. I showed you the neighborhood - you road on the back of my bike when you moved in as a kid and you never let me forget it. Remember when you bought that van and we carpeted the walls - we thought that was cool! The golden rule was I couldn't go out with any of your sisters because we were best buds. I sure enjoyed cruising in that Fury of yours when I didn't have a car. That downstairs bedroom you had in the basement was great for sneaking out or coming home late. It was great because you were the only one with a mustache so you could get away with buying the beer and not get carded. Even after all these years you always made a point to stay in touch. Really enjoyed your last visit this past January. This hurts so much. You are a great friend and an even better husband and dad. I am going to miss you tremendously. My heartfelt prayers are with the Ripton family.

Rippy, for almost 50 years you have been my best friend. Always been there for each other thru different careers, start ups, different states, talked about our kids and how great they were, Carly's genius and Wyatts amazing arm and Susan's awesome leadership at different hospitals and all along it was like you were in my head because it was so easy to come up with a perfect discussing that made sense with you, that I will miss more than anything in this world. You have always been my best friend, my brother, my go to guy! You're an amazing person and an awesome Dad proud of Wyatt and Carly like no other Dad could express. Love you man! Lord please do me one favor,, okay maybe two take care of my friend and Rippy is a talker, so no matter how hard he tries and whether it's the shoulder or the back, don't give him 5 shots a side only give him 3 he sandbags! While Mike and I were not particularly close friends, he always treated me like a best friend. He could be funny, sarcastic, the life of the party but he was especially a great Dad to Wyatt and Carly. That is the true testament of a life lived was how you raise your kids and Mike was truly proud and happy when his kids were. We talked often about coaching, sports in general and other mundane topics but he was always happiest talking about his kids. He will truly be missed and my heart goes out to you Wyatt and Carly, may the happy memories and love for your Dad comfort you during this most difficult time.
