Robert J. Pasquarella

Robert J. Pasquarella RotterdamRobert J. Pasquarella, 84, passed away suddenly Friday, August 16, 2013 at home. He was born May 5, 1929 in Schenectady, the son of the late John and Rose Ponzillo Pasquarella. He was a Vocational High School graduate. Robert owned L.B.J. Automobile Sales and Service in Rotterdam. He served in the U.S. Army and Ready Reserves from 1954 to 1962. He is survived by his wife, Virginie (Ginny) Carter Pasquarella; sons, Larry LaMora (Angela) of Rotterdam, and Brett Pasquarella (Aimee) of Texas; grandchildren, Christina Mastrianni (Erik), Shannon LaMora, and Felicia LaMora; and great-grandchild, Lorenzo James Mastrianni. Also survived by his brother, Bernard Pasquarella (Judy) of California. He was predeceased by his son, James LaMora in 1999; and his siblings, Edward Pasquarella, Nicholas Pasquarella, and Anna Canizaro. Calling hours Wednesday evening 5 to 7 p.m. at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam. A funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning at the funeral home.
