Derrell Daniel Obituary
Derrell Daniel, 59, of Aubrey, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 in Aubrey, TX. He was born June 19, 1957 in Denton, TX to Billy Daniel and Jo (Inmon) Daniel. Derrell is survived by his son, Dustin Daniel and wife Dava of Paris, TX; daughters, Amanda Daniel and Jana Pool and husband Cody of Paris, TX; grandchildren, Austin, Kylie, Hunter, Brody, Ryder, Kaden, Kase and Kenlee; sisters, Sandy Hollar and husband Wayne of Aubrey, TX, Billie Jezek and husband Tom of Pilot Point, TX, Fredlyn Daniel of Aubrey, TX and Phoebe Hampton and husband Donald Wayne of Aubrey, TX; and aunt, Ann Daniel of Colorado Springs, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Jo Daniel.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 12, 2017, 4:00-5:00PM, at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, TX. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 13, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Krugerville in Aubrey, TX with Rev. Sam Redfearn officiating. Burial will be immediately following at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, TX. Online condolences may be shared at www.slaymemorialfuneralhome.com.

Cuz, this is very hard to do. We have made a lot of memories over the years. Funny thing is nobody would understand what they meant to us except us. You are in a lot better place now and have a brand new body with no aches or pains. RIP. cuz and I will see one day in your mansion just over the hilltop. You will be missed by a lot of folks, both Family and Friends. But we all know you are at your Eternal Home now, free of any pain or illness, and you are now flying high in the skies, with the family and friends you hadn't gotten to see while on your final journey here on Earth. My deepest condolences to your family, and especially to your kids and grandkids. I know they all loved you very much, and will miss you even more.
We loved you too, as part of our Class of '76, and will miss you.
