Charles "Chuck" Botik
December 13, 1940 - April 25, 2021
Fort Worth, Texas - Charles "Chuck" Jerry Botik Jr., age 80, died on Sunday, April 25, 2021.
Visitation: 5-6pm Sunday, Thompson's Harveson & Cole, 4350 River Oaks Blvd.
Graveside: 11 am Tuesday, Mt Olivet Cemetery.
Chuck was born in Fort Worth on December 13, 1940 to Charles and Gertrude Botik. He joined the Marines right after graduation and served for 6 years. Chuck worked as a salesman for Superior and Bar W for about 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting and fishing. Chuck was a man with strong opinions and a soft heart and loved to laugh and had a wry wit about him.
Chuck was preceded in death by both of his parents, and his brother, Bob.
Survivors include his wife, Pat, his sister-in-law, Lisa Botik and her children, sister-in-law Barbara Bertrand, nephew, Stephen Bertrand and wife Heather, their children, Jordan, Ella, Ian, Mia, and Lily, niece, Sarah Tschoepe and husband Terry, their daughter Rebecca, and niece, Mishael Berger and husband Brandon and their children Ava and Noah, many cousins, some of whom he remained close to over the years through frequent calls and visits, and some very special and helpful neighbors, including Kent Schmedel, whom he also considered his friend.
