Dan played for my father at Texas Tech and was admired by him. I was fortunate to be in lubbock last year for their Red Raider, DeWitt Weaver teams reunion and had a chance to know Dan better. He also has a great wife Lovetta I have known since high school. My prayers are with you Lovetta. DeWitt Weaver, Jr.

One of the best and toughest running back at Tech from years 57 to 61. It was an honor and privilage to know and play football with him. John W. Janak, Austin, TX.
