Shelly,
I wanted to add how impressed I was the in 1998 when you purchased a Sweetwater Mustang Class of 1953 t-shirt to give to your father, J. B., for a birthday gift. Although he couldn't attend, he was in your thoughts. This was so thoughtful of you.

I wish to extend my deepest condolences to Shelly, Scott and Kelly in the passing of their father, J. B. Moss. I worked with J.B. as a steward of OPEIU, Local 277 and would loved to have had him as a Mentor much longer. He appeared Ruff & Gruff but down deep had a heart of Gold. With the responsibility, he took so serious, he had to maintain his statute and hold his ground for the betterment of all. He will be Greatly missed for a long time to come; but we can relish in memories of him and the things he taught us.

Martha and Carla, I was so sorry to read of J.B. passing. I have such fond memories of him getting on to Carla and I for "tickling too loud" during our high school days. He was a WONDERFUL man. I wish I had seen the article earlier, I would like to have shown my respect for the entire family by attending the services. My prayers go to all of his children and to you Martha. I have missed you both over the years. May God watch over you all and comfort you. Deepest Regards, LaQuienna

I extend my sincere condolences to all of J.B.'s family. I was a 1953 classmate of his and we had some good times together. I met J.B. only once after graduation and that was in 1954 in Benson, Arizona in a resturant. We were stationed at Fort Huachuca, Arizona in the Army and J.B. was enroute to Louisana, I think. It was neat to see him and he was so excited to see someone from home......he grabbed me and swung me all around, just happy to see a familiar face.
God Bless,
I know you will miss him.

I regret that I will be unable to attend the services for a classmate from 1953 Newman High School in Sweetwater, TX. J. B. was always such a positive and fun-loving guy. Wish I had seen him in later life. My sympathy goes the his dear family and loved ones. The news has been shared via e-mail with over 75 classmates and the newspaper article is being sent too. May God bless and care for you. My love and thanks to Jodie for contacting and keeping us posted the past weeks.

JB
In the short time I have known you, the too brief times we met, I am left with the sense of just how much I and everyone else has now lost and will miss, by your untimely passing. The pilots at Air Logistics remain forever grateful for your wisdom, help and guidance.
Of particular note was that every time we met, your loving wife Martha was by your side. JB always struck me as a man who cared deeply for his own family, as well as his extended OPEIU family.
Our sympathies go out to you Martha and your family for your loss.We must now fill the void left in the future, with fond memories of the past.
May God Bless and take care of you all.
For the pilots of Local 107,
Bill Sykes

I was very sadden to hear of the passing of Brother JB Moss.
He was a true champion of the labor movement, and he was extremely dedicated to the OPEIU family.
Although I did not know JB very well on a personal level it didn't take long being in his presence to realize that he was a sincere person.
My condolences to his family and friends.

J.B. was a great help to the pilots of Petroleum Helicopters, Inc. in particular and all helicopter pilots in general. Without him we would probably never have become organized. We owe J.B. a great deal and we are the less for his passing.
So long, old friend.
