Stephanie Stricker, 56, of Grapevine went to join our Lord in Heaven on Friday, March 31, 2017 Memorial: 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine. Memorials: In lieu of flowers or gifts, please donate to the SPCA in Grand Prairie or Cook's Children's hospital in her memory. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was born in Memphis, Tenn., on Aug. 26, 1960, to Richard Torina Sr. and Lynne Snyder Herring. She married the love of her life, Jeff Stricker, on March 1, 1988. She worked for American Airlines as a flight attendant from 1984 until she retired in 2007. She was the most genuine, kind person who loved to care for people, giving the most authentic hugs paired with the most infectious laugh one could ever hear. She was a devout lover of animals, especially to Rudy and Tobey. Sundays were Jeff's and her day to make their favorite dinner, pot roast with potatoes. Nona was her name to her grandchildren, Kamden and Grey, they truly adored her. She was the purest of heart and never met a stranger. Survivors: She is survived by her husband, Jeff of Grapevine; stepdaughter, Jayme Lambert and husband, Jared; grandchildren, Kamden and Grey of Little Elm; mother, Lynne Herring; father, Richard Torina Sr.; brother, Richard Torina Jr; sister, Angela Parks and husband, Bob; nephews, Wesley and Taylor, all of Big Spring, Texas. Also survived by, and will always be loved by, all of Jeff's family and so many friends.
