Anthony (Tony - "Little Red") Dattilo
November 16, 2022
Remembering our cousin "Buddy" from years ago as a child in Columbus, Ohio. He was always with a smile, fun to be around and a frequent visitor to my grandparents home on Cleveland Avenue. He was another "Tony" of many in our family, and his nickname of 'Buddy" stuck, making it easier to recognize which "Tony" he was. I remember his return home from his military time in WWII when everyone welcomed him home with others in our family who also served. I was so glad that he was able to participate with other WWII veterans, in an Honor Flight. I saw him for the last time many years ago when he was a much younger man before my family moved to Colorado. He'll remain forever in my memory as he was then - funny and kidding me about my red hair. As another "Tony" my nickname was "Little Red" for the same reason my Dad (another 'Tony') was called "Red". So sorry this note of November 2022 is so late. Veterans Day brought memories of you and I just found your obituary on the internet. Rest with God, Buddy.. I hope He'll allow me to join you and our other family members when my time comes..

This is GUS DiNovo. Buddys cousin. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I didnt find out until today, reading the paper. I have many fond memories of my cousin. We called each other ugly or uglier than me. Thinking of him always brings a smile to my face. Mary, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
