Helen "Pat" Dattilo

Helen Patricia "Pat" Dattilo 89, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, at Baptist Health Floyd, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.

Born on November 2, 1936, to William and Helen Motschmann, Pat was a woman of deep faith and community roots. She held the distinction of being a member of the very first graduating class at Providence High School and remained a devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart/St. Augustine Catholic Church throughout her life. Pat was a full-time homemaker and at times in her life was involved in various pro-life ministries, including St. Elizabeth's Home.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Jerome Matthew Dattilo; her parents, William and Helen Motschmann; and her sister, Barbara Staton.

Her legacy lives on through her five children: Terri (Ben) Hornung, Jerome (Amber) Dattilo, Julie (Jack) Harper, Kenneth (Jeanne) Dattilo, and Matthew (Danielle Rateau) Dattilo. She was the proud grandmother of fifteen: Danny, Mark and Michael (Andrea) Hornung; Jim (Amanda), Ben, Anne, Sophie and Charlotte Dattilo; Tony (Anastasia), Paul (Joy), Stephen (Gira), Natalie, Claire and Will Harper, Katie (Matt) Parris, and great-grandmother of nine.

Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Providence High School, 707 Providence Way, Clarksville, IN 47129, and Little Way Pregnancy Resource Center, 515 W. Oak Street, Louisville, KY 40203.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 2-8:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff at Rivercrest Assisted Living, Baptist Health Floyd's Neuro Heart Unit and Emergency Room, and Interim Hospice for their kindness and dedicated care during this time.
