I just found this obituary. I worked for Dr Sankey at St Luke´s Hospital in the Anesthesia Dept from 1966 until Nov 1978 when I moved to S Florida. I was his secretary, bookkeeper, and office manager. He was an awesome doctor and worked very hard . I was grateful to have such a good boss and superior doctor. May he Rest In Peace.

Dear Sankey Family,
We were saddened to read of your loss. Dr. Sankey was an inspiration to us when we would see him on the golf course in his retirement years. George's dad thought so much of him. We admired him as he cared so lovingly for your mother in her later years. Our thoughts are with you. Please accept our wishes of deepest sympathy.
With warmest regards,

Dear family of Dr. Sankey,
My husband Tom and I were privilged to work with Dr. Sankey at St. Vincent Charity Hospital and at Lutheran Hospital in the Ansthesia departments. Dr. Sankey will always stand out in our minds as not just a professionl anesthesiologist, but also a kind and caring person who gave excellent care to all his patients. I will not forget that he stopped by my house years ago to drop off a wedding gift!So thoughtful!! He often spoke lovingly of his wife Helen. Truly, he was a gentleman. We are so sorry for your loss.
