Charles Strawser Obituary

STRAWSER Charles Strawser, 74 years, passed away May 3, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of Hilliard United Methodist Church, a United States Navy Veteran and retired Loan Officer with Huntington National Bank. Preceded in death by loving wife of 50 years Beverly. Survived by daughters, Tammie Hull (Mike Hull), Tara Nystrom; sister, Joyce Carr; grandchildren, Ashlea (Chris Bassler), Natalie Hull, Steven and Jessica Nystrom; many loving relatives and special friends from the Wednesday evening grief group and Monday morning men's breakfast group. Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Funeral service Wednesday 11 a.m. at Hilliard United Methodist Church, 5445 Scioto Darby Rd., Hilliard. Burial Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Sign the online guestbook at www.dispatch.com/obituaries

Chuck,

We first met 5 years ago under sad circumstances in a grief support group. We were both trying to make some sense out of our losses. Though I regret my loss I will never regret meeting you. You have helped me in ways that you never knew and for that I will always be grateful. I will miss you and I want to wish you and Bev God speed as you begin your glorious new adventure.
