Debra Lynn Kunze, age 66, of Dublin, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, February 20, 2018 at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware. She was born November 6, 1951 in Columbus. Debra was a 1969 graduate of Fairbanks High School where she was a majorette in the marching band. Debra worked as a beautician at the "Charm and Chatter" in Marysville and later went to work as a Pre-School Aide at St. John's Lutheran Church in Dublin, where she was also an active member. Preceded in death by her parents Leroy M. and Geraldine (Debolt) Porschet, brother-in-law Bob Moder. Survived by her loving husband of 44 years, John Kunze; daughters, Karla (Jerry Moody) Kunze, Lisa (Chris) Lape, Julie (Adam) Boyer; grandchildren, Rebekah Lape, Timothy Lape, Katrina Lape, Jessica Lape, Jacob Boyer, Samuel Boyer; sisters, Marilyn (Russ) Nicol, Lois Moder. The family will receive friends 2-5 PM Sunday, at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main Street, (St. Rt. 161W) Plain City. Funeral service will be held at 11AM, Monday, February 26, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church, 6135 Rings Rd., Dublin, Ohio 43016 with visitation one hour prior (10-11 AM). Rev. Adam Steinbrenner officiating and burial St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Milford Center. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Pre-School, Dublin.
