Dolores Devine Obituary

Devine Dolores Devine returned to our heavenly Father on April 10, 2015 after being lovingly cared for by the devoted staff of Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. The oldest daughter of Timothy, "TJ," and Mary Irene (Flynn) Devine's four children, Dolores was born in Worcester, MA on May 26, 1931. Dolores called Jamaica, NY home for 50 years where she graduated from The Mary Louis Academy and St. John's University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. She proudly worked in marketing research for Nielsen, The Reader's Digest, and Ebony Magazine. She relocated to Worthington, OH in 1995 to join her only child, Michelle, and son-in-law, Jim Reese. Dolores held each of her four grandchildren in her arms and her heart: Jack Timothy, Nickolas Anthony, Morgan Mary, and Natalie Antonia Dolores will miss their Nana greatly. Calling hours and a prayer service will be held at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor, 5199 E Broad St., Columbus, OH, 43213, on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Visitation at the Newman Center on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 9 a.m. precedes her funeral mass at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Newman Center, 64 W Lane Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201. Donations can be made to Mother Angeline McCrory Manor or to the Alzheimer's Association (please designate "Research") at alz.org/centralohio or 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH, 43215.
