I think of Dwight still, so often. I´ve just told my story of Dwight, his loves, family, paper store, Bakery, Borrow Lake, good friens to my friends. Dwight will always be a part of me and has a special place in MY family album too.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Dwight. I had the opportunity to meet Dwight in the middle 70's until the middle 80s, when I moved out of the Worthington area. Dwight and the Moody/Hall family were very kind to me. Very supportive! It was a privilege to have met him and the Moody/ Hall family.

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Dwight and his family in 1978-79. He was an integral participant in helping me grow into an adult. His wit, humor and generosity are the gifts I will always cherish. May joy and peace surround you.

The entire Cellar family would like to share our condolences for the Moody family. Dwight was an important part of our lives for his business expertise with our school and home office needs. His train car business offered a similar friendliness and represented an excellent place for social gatherings and great food. Dwight earned his prominence in the Worthington community with his work and interest in the people he served.

Dear Dwight, I'm so sorry we didn't get to keep in better communication, brother. What fun we had from GiAntonio's Pastry shop, to your paper store, your hare-brained, funny exploits and attempts to make money. What an entrpenuer! And all the time teaching, training, and caring for others. Such a giving person, I don't recall you ever asking for anything for just yourself. My fondest memories were of the old house on Borrow Lake in Worthington.

I think it was the year you were named, Worthington Businessman of the Year, you talked me into donating my valuable time to be Santa Claus for the Worthington Business Community! I truly had so much fun and had been gone from your paper store at least an hour beyond our scheduled time. I got the message from a couple business owners on the north end of Worthington. A couple fun loving Columbus policemen decided to get in the Xmas spirit. I'll never forget that disgusted, laughing, shocked look on your face when the trooper car with siren blasts announced the arrival of Santa sitting in the backseat window!

Dwight, I'll miss so many happy times with you. I think it was you
who nicknamed my mom, "Sport" when you boosted her up onto
the top of a stone wall at Buckingham Palace so she could have a better view of the changing of the guard. I'll miss you terribly, brother. Love ya!

RIP, SIR

Really no words to explain what an impact Dwight Moody had on this earth. I am really distraught that I never got to tell him how much I loved him. He will be missed, but I am sure he is wheeling and dealing in his new home. And being kind to all of those around him. What a Gentle Man.

I'm really sorry to learn of Dwight's passing. I met him when I joined PFLAG many years ago and have since lost contact. I remember him as a caring & supportive person. My sympathies go out to his family.

Dwight Moody was one of the most creative people I have known. I enjoyed his energy and imagination and admired his ability to manage so many activities at one time. We did many printing and community projects together over the years and his suggestions and advice always enhanced the results.

Dwight was also a good friend to Mary and me. He was generous, kind, thoughtful and fun. He loved Worthington and helped so many people, student and school organizations and community groups.

Whenever there was a cause that Dwight felt was good for the community, he was there offering the support of Moody's Paper Store or his time as a volunteer. He did not receive a lot of credit for all of his good works nor did he seek recognition. He did good things because he was a good person.

We have many fond memories of our friend Dwight Moody. He is now at peace, which he so rightfully deserves.

I knew Dwight just from purchasing from Moody's in the late 60's and early 70's. It was always a pleasure to go in and be greeted with a smile. I always thought he was a very special man. My sympathies to his family and friends.

Dwight was a great friend and mentor to me when I worked for him at Moody's. He was a true innovator in his use of computer graphics long before it was the norm, a creative genius in his mix of old and new technologies in the print world, and light years ahead of others in marketing his business. Dwight gave me many opportunities and taught me to work hard. I have many fond memories of him and those times with Ann, Sue, Ruth and Chuck. Praying for peace for your family.

Sympathies to Dwight's friends and family. Though I lost contact with him in the early '70s, I had known he and his father well with the store and did all our business with them. In 1970 while working at 1230 The New WCOL I was drafted. Dwight was among the small group that hosted a departure party for me. I will never forget it. I just liked his manner! Sad to hear that he was not perfectly well in recent times. Peace.

Dwight was one of the funny and charming characters of our ATO chapter at OSU in the late 50's. He was elected Treasurer because no could turn down that special request of " Moody " to pay your monthly bill on time with a smile. One of the wonderful people that make college memories great.
