Eric Meszaros, age 37 of Columbus, OH passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018. Eric is preceded in death by his mother Melody Ervin. He is survived by parents: Daniel (Susie) Meszaros, daughter: Madison Meszaros, brothers: Jeremy (Peggy) Meszaros, Paul Benson, sister: Amanda (David) Simpson, grandparents: Barbara Brown and Kathleen Nihart, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of friends. The family will welcome friends Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 5265 NORWICH STREET, HILLIARD, OH 43026. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 10 AM. at the funeral home. To leave the family online condolences please visit www.tiddfuneralservice.com.

Even though our family wasn't close throughout the years this is still so heartbreaking. I was glad that Eric contacted me on Facebook. I shared some old pictures and memories that I have of his mom. I remember when we ran into him in Pataskala. He seemed like such a sincere and warm person. Such a beautiful smile. Dan you and your wife and Melody did such a good job of raising him. We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences. The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family. We meet monthly in Columbus from 7-9 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. If and when you are ready to do so, please join us.
