Rest In Peace Ranger Kennard. We are all individually reduced by the passing and the loss, but we are all collectively enriched by the mere fact that such men once lived and walked among us.

I met Mr. Kennard at a Yale Reunion. I was walking through Berkeley College with my classmates from Yale Class of 1988 when I looked over and saw Mr. Kennard with a WWII Ranger Patch. As a fellow Ranger (Class 7-89) I immediately went over and he told me in captivating detail of his service during D-Day with 2nd Ranger Battalion. It was a privilege to meet him. Thank you Sir for your leadership, bravery and service. Thank you for the gift of freedom you fought to preserve for all of us. Rangers Lead the Way! You have a stone at www.rangermemorial.com
