Gavin Edmond Beagle

Beagle Gavin Edmond Beagle, of Tallahassee, FL, went to be with The Lord on May 17, 2015. Gavin was born on July 31, 1972 in Warren, OH, the son of Anna Marie Russo Beagle and the late Gerald E. Beagle. Gavin was raised in the Catholic faith at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Niles, OH and was a member of Genesis Church in Tallahassee, FL for 10 years where he was active in the children's ministry. Gavin married Laura M. Earnest on October 23, 2004. Together they shared three children, Zane, Lea and Mason. Gavin loved God and his family. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and nephew. Gavin loved to play sports and played football at Howland High School and Hiram college. Gavin loved those "Buckeyes" and sharing his love of sports with his sons. Gavin coached tee-ball and assisted in coaching softball and flag football for his children. He attended Warren City Schools and was a 1990 graduate of Howland High School. He attended Hiram College and was a graduate of The Ohio State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Education (1997) and Capital University Law School, Juris Doctorate (2004) in Columbus, OH. He was a member of the Florida Bar Association and a Senior Attorney with the Florida House of Representatives Education Committee from 2005-present. He served on the board of the Tallahassee Citizens' Police Academy Association. He is also survived by brothers, Jason (Brian Osborne) of Oklahoma City, OK, Nathan (Kelly Sullivan); and sister, Amanda (Pedro) Beagle Bossio of Astoria, NY and extended family; uncles, Michael Russo and Joseph (Susan ) Russo of Niles, OH, John (Tina) Russo of Louisville, KY; great aunts and uncle, Mary Russo of Niles and John and Ann Scirocco of Girard, OH; mother-in-law, Linda Earnest; sisters-in-law, Mary (Mason) Frascona, Sarah (Yorke) Davis and Lynn Earnest of Tallahassee, FL; a niece, nephews and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and father-in-law James T. Earnest, Jr., grandparents Joseph and Christine Scirocco Russo and George and Armina Grim Beagle, uncle and aunt Blaine Michael and Marilyn Beagle Gay, and a cousin Brooke Christine Russo. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 23, 9 a.m. at Dorothy B. Oven Park. A memorial service will also be conducted in Niles, OH for friends and family at a later date.
