To my family God took Georgie home, it was His will, however in our hearts we will forever miss him. The memories that we have will keep him close. They say time will heal broken hearts, but what can fill the space that is within that keeps telling us Georgie is not here. We have the strength and we have the faith that says......go on, go on. With that we continue. George left behind so many precious things, when I saw his children I knew that he lives on. It was inspirational. We will often think about our school days and remember all the hopes and dreams, George achieved so much and we all can be proud. God Bless all of you.

To the family of George Hood
I met George when he was in the process of opening his unit. He was unique with words when he call me to come to work. He was the only boss I had that I could actually be myself and talk the way he talked. He will always have a place in my heart and soul and I will always look up to him and let him know his job was well done. In loving memory always

To the Hood Family:
I have a few memories of George. I was 4 years younger, but he was always kind to me when I came into the store in Middletown. What a legacy he has left!!. All the accomplishments he conquered were outstanding. Grieve for him, but be proud of him. God Bless You All.

I am deeply saddened at the news of George’s death. I fondly remember the healthy competitions between Georgie, our classmates, and myself as we matriculated through McKinley Junior High School and Middletown Senior High School. In our pursuit of excellence, we were becoming the fine men and women we were destined to become. Each of us was being shaped, processed, and prepared to make our individual, significant contributions to the world.
I don’t believe I have interacted with George since graduating from high school nearly forty years ago. But as I read his obituary, I felt so very proud. I am sure that members of his family are extremely proud: proud of decisions he made, risks he certainly had to take as an entrepreneur, and the inspiration he provided for others as he made his significant contributions to his world.
I salute you today my friend and classmate extraordinaire, George S. Hood. You fought the fight. Certainly you had to keep the faith. Henceforth … wear your crown.
To the Hood family, please know that our loving thoughts and prayers embrace you. May the Spirit of the Lord rest upon you, comfort you, and keep you.

To the Family of George Hood: You are in my prayers and thoughts. George was very instrumental in my transition into dialysis. My acceptance of the process and it's problems was slow to nonexistant. George changed all of that. He helped me except the idea and reality of dialysis and all that it involves for me. Now I may explain it to my father who now has to do dialysis. George took time and made the effort to run a center which he could be proud of and we were proud to come to. God bless George Hood and may the famiy be blessed.
