Georgene Davis

Davis Georgene Davis born December 8, 1929 at White Cross Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016. She was a graduate of Linden McKinley HS and worked at Retail Credit and Vance's Gateway. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Gillie Recreation Center for many years. She also volunteered in the sewing guild at Riverside Methodist Hospital for 15 years. She is survived by sister, Mary Jane Lynch; daughters, Marsha (Davis) Burleson and husband Mark, and Debra (Davis) Pound and husband Dave; grandson, Aaron Pound and his wife Jackie; great grandchildren, Zoey and Ethan Burleson; nephew, Charles Lynch and wife Linda. Preceded in death by husband Dave Davis and mother and father Ruth and George Murdock, grandchildren Kasey Burleson and Brian Burleson. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St, Worthington, Ohio 43085 where friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
