James Russel Blair, age 82, of Pickerington, Ohio, died Sunday, December 27, 2020. Born November 16, 1938 to the late James and Florence Blair. J.R. served in the United States Air Force and worked for AT&T for 30 years. J.R. loved to golf, watch Ohio State Football and Basketball, enjoy time at the beach, and playing cards with friends. J.R. is survived by his wife, Susanna; daughter, Madonna (Mike) Barker; son, Todd (Jeanette) Blair; step-daughters, Maria (Les) Torok, Christina Abram, Julie (Perry) Furj-Kuhn; grandchildren, Roxanne, Jonathan, Dylan, Kylie, Anna, Owen, Kamryn, Sara, Macy, Eliana, and Mira. Due to Covid-19, a private funeral service will be held for the family. Interment will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave., Columbus, OH at 12pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Arrangements by DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME. Contributions can be made out to Alzheimer's Association in his name. Online condolences and live stream link at spencefuneralhome.com.
