Joseph W. Weigman Jr., age 56, of Pickerington, died Friday, September 1, 2017 at Mount Carmel St. Ann's. He was born September 3, 1960 in Baltimore, MD. Joseph was actively serving our country as a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army with over 30 years of service. He was an avid fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes and loved spending time with his family. Joseph was very involved with his daughter's activities growing up and extremely proud of their accomplishments. His saying was "Never Quit," and that's how he lived his life. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Nancy Weigman; daughters, Erica and Rachel Weigman; parents, Joseph and Elaine Weigman Sr.; siblings, Kurt Weigman, John Weigman, Carol Polsley; and many nieces and nephews. I had the honor of serving with Joe at Fort Polk in 2004-2005. Joe was an excellent senior officer and a caring and compassionate leader. He left US too soon and we will miss him.

Shocked and sad to hear this news. Years ago I spent a lot of time with Joe. Our kids played soccer together and we hung out after football games. Joe and I played basketball at Seton Parish and often rode bikes together, he even gave me a bike that I still have. I saw Joe at the gym about a year and a half ago, we chatted and shared a few laughs. He looked like the Joe I remember, always smiling. Rest in peace my old friend. God bless you and your family.

I will miss him we talked sports and even politics never seen him upset always a smile on his face you will be truly missed you left to early but things happen for a reason. Love you bro!! Go Bucks!!
