Joyce Ann Parker

PARKER Joyce Ann (Taylor) Parker, age 62, of Hilliard, went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, August 5, 2009. She was a member of Vineyard Church of Columbus and the Hilliard Historical Society. She was a graduate of Hilliard High School Class of 1965. Mamaw Joyce was not only a devoted grandmother to her own grandchildren but also to the neighborhood children. Joyce was an avid animal lover and enjoyed rescuing animals. Preceded in death by husband H.E. (Bubby) Parker. Survived by mother, Imogene (Harry) Baughman; father, Charles Taylor; daughter, Dawn Gomer; son, Mike (Angie) Lewis; sisters, Jill (Bill) Stinson and Heidi (Ricque) DeWald; grandchildren, Greg and Zack Gomer, Casey and Adrienne Biggers and Jaimee Lewis; nephews, Corey and Dustin Bird; nieces, Rachel and Renee DeWald; and many extended loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 10 a.m.-12Noon Friday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, Oh. 43026, where a memorial service will follow at 12Noon Friday.
