Karen Elaine Lynd Enz, a special child of God, died on January 8, 2018, following a difficult final illness, which she faced with courage, determination and faith. Born February 19, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio, Karen graduated from Steubenville, "Big Red". She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Education from "The" Ohio State University and taught the "little people" in first grade at Whitehall Schools; then at St. Andrews Presbyterian Pre-School and Central College Presbyterian Pre-School. Karen was a longtime member of the 9-hole group at York Golf Club and served as an active member and Deacon at Central College Presbyterian Church as well as a volunteer of Westerville Area Resource Ministries (W.A.R.M). She was dearly loved by so many and loved them all in return. Karen is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Steve; daughter, Monica Miles and husband, John; son, Michael of Westerville; grandson, Matthew Miles; and granddaughter, Samantha Miles. Also surviving are her sister-in-law, Carmen Enz and her children, Melissa and Michael. The family thanks the staff at Select Specialty Hospital for their care and compassion. Her family will receive friends from 2-5pm Saturday afternoon, at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street (1/2 mile south of I-270). A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Central College Presbyterian Church, 975 S. Sunbury Road, Westerville, OH 43081. Pastor Malcolm Davis officiating.
