William (Will) Stewart Denny passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 7, 2026. Will was a thoughtful, kind, and caring soul and beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Will was born in
Richmond, Virginia, on December 1, 1999, where he spent the first ten years of his life and made many lifelong friends. As a child, Will enjoyed playing golf, soccer, and lacrosse and was quite the wizard on the Wii. Will also spent a lot of time in Mathews, Virginia, with his grandparents, Daniel and Mary Dabney "Nana" Webster, fishing and riding in Granddad's boat.
After the family moved to Atlanta in 2010, Will quickly developed strong friendships with neighborhood kids and fellow classmates. He continued playing lacrosse and enjoying area waterparks and amusement parks.
While Will was not thrilled when the family moved to Dublin, Ohio, in 2013, he later admitted that the move was the best thing that ever happened to him. In Dublin, Will developed lifelong friendships with the "Pentagon Boys," Larry, Cameron, Charlie, and Cam, who aptly named their moms the "Pentagon Moms" because of their secret monthly lunches, where they shared stories of the boys' exploits.
Will graduated from Dublin Jerome High School in 2018 and found his second home at Miami University in Ohio, where he was a proud member of Tau Kappa Epsilon. During the "best years of his life" at Miami, Will added to his enduring friendships and loved introducing his friends to his parents during Parents' Weekends and holiday visits to Dublin. Will earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from Miami and began his professional career at KPMG in Columbus in the fall of 2023.
In May of 2025, Will moved to
Austin, TX, where he accepted a job with Huntington Bank as an Asset-Based Lending Field Examiner and reunited with his close friend and college roommate, Hunter Friel. During his brief time in Austin, Will developed a close-knit group of friends and embraced the city he loved, spending time paddle boarding on the rivers and savoring Texas barbecue. Austin brought him joy, adventure, and a sense of belonging.
Will had a deep love for people and a natural gift for bringing them together, often organizing gatherings for family and friends. He lived life fully, packing each day with purpose - working hard at his new job, while always making time for loved ones. On fall weekends, Will could be found watching college and professional football, steadfastly cheering on his Pittsburgh Steelers. Will had a passion for music and found joy at concerts and music festivals. He was financially savvy, with a keen interest in stocks and cryptocurrency. Will also enjoyed time sitting around the table playing Catan, where his competitive nature and love of connection came together. He loved to travel and experience new places, especially spending time with his family on annual vacations to the Carolina beaches and spring break trips.
Will is loved fiercely by his parents, Matt and Mary Landon Pollak, and brothers, Thomas, Michael, and Brendan. Will and his youngest brother, Thomas, shared a special bond, with Will taking immense pride in Thomas' achievements and serving as his mentor, providing advice, comfort, direction, and an occasional inappropriate meme. Will is cherished by his maternal grandparents, Daniel and Mary Dabney Webster; paternal grandmothers, Anne Carples Denny and Barbara A. Pollak; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers, Collins Denny III, and Robert T. Pollak. Will also leaves behind his faithful family dog, Moe.
