Marissa Joy Gentry

GENTRY Marissa Joy (Wenell) Gentry, age 35, of Canal Winchester, formerly of Centerburg, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011. She was born on August 17, 1976 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Robert M. Wenell and Susan Foster Mullins. A 1994 graduate of Centerburg High School, Marissa attended World Harvest Church and was a student at Columbus State Community College. Marissa was known for her beautiful smile and for her positive outlook on life. She was a wonderful mother and treasured the time spent with her children and family. She is survived by her children, Marcus and Mika; father, Robert M. (Ann) Wenell of Centerburg; mother, Susan (Ray) Mullins of Columbus; brother, Seth (Becca) Wenell of Whitehall; one niece; three nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert C. Wenell, nephew Robert N. Wenell, grandparents Robert and Marion Wenell. Friends may call Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at the DeVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, SR's 3 at 61, Sunbury. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at The Vineyard Community Church, 10444 Crouse-Willison Road, Johnstown, OH 43031 with Pastor Tommy Tucker officiating.
