Mary and I worked at Muhlenberg College and The Allentown Fair together for years. She was the best. She was a friend, co-worker and substitute "mom".
One of my memories I have of Mary was in the year 1999. It was the last night of the fair, Lynyrd Skynyrd was playing ... it rained so hard... we were in puddles up to our ankles. Mary helped me load all the equipment into the truck at 11:00PM that night...that was the middle of the day for Mary...
She was the best... not because of that, but because "she was the best".
I miss her.

Dear Patty & David & family,
My sincere sympathy on the passing of your Mother. She was truly an awesome lady. I've known her since I was a child. Your Grandmother, Mary and my Grandmother (Mary Ivankovits) were best friends. I have many fond memories of visiting your house on Tilghman St. In later years I had the pleasure of working with your Mom at Muhlenberg College. She had a heart of gold & a wonderful personality. But her most popular trait was her unique sense of humor. She was hilarious to work with & could make you laugh even on a bad day. Everyone loved her. She will be dearly missed. Mary & all of you are in my thoughts & prayers.

An old bud of mine....I can always remember how happy she was to cook breakfast for me when I was 19...and I loved her cooking. we had a special connection and she already occupies a space in my heart. My sympathies to patty and david. how lucky you were in this life to have her.

Dear Erdman family,
Mary always lit up the room when she helped at Muhlenberg College events. We would share a quick hello as she kept pace with her duties. She always beamed with pride and love when she updated me on her children and grandchildren. Heaven just welcomed another sweet angel to its fold.

Dear Patty and David, Jim and I send our deepest sympathy. We both worked with Mary at Muhlenberg and she was a trip. We loved her with all of our hearts and we miss her dearly. It's to bad we lost contact when she went into the home. I will miss sending her letters and cards, she was so happy when she got a card from us. She is in Gods hands now and she will have no more pain. Rest in peace our dear heart.
