Michael Goodburn Obituary
Michael James Goodburn, born April 2, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio. Passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at St Ann's Hospital. Married to his wife Karen for 54 years. He was owner and operator of Mid City Automotive Services in German Village for 38 years. Preceded in death by parents George L Goodburn Sr. and Mary M. Goodburn, brothers George L. Jr. and John Goodburn, sisters Roseann Babak and Sr. M. Sharon Goodburn OSF. In addition to wife Karen, he is survived by daughters. Amy Goodburn (Gary Czapla), Kathi (Andrew) McGoldrick, Lisa (Nick) Stipanovich, Laura (Kevin) Horsky; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Michael (Aly), and Corinne McGoldrick, Marissa, Ben, and Ethan Czapla, Eva and Charlie Stipanovich, and Anna and Kelsey Horsky; brother, Paul (Marybeth) Goodburn; sister, Grace Hartman; and sister-in-law, Sharon Goodburn; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 4-7pm Friday, March 23, 2018 at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E Schrock Rd, Westerville, Ohio 43081. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11am Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 N. State St, Westerville, Ohio 43082. Celebrant Fr. Stash L Dailey.

On behalf of the students, faculty and administration of Saint
Francis DeSales High School please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of of your beloved husband, Dad, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and friend.
One of the greatest measures of one's legacy can be seen through a person's faith and their love of family. Our world was made a more gentle and Just place do to Mike's love. May the angels lead him to paradise and may perpetual light shine upon him.
