Richard Blagg Obituary
Richard Lee Blagg, Jr., age 57, beloved husband and father, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Rich was born on February 8, 1960 to the late Richard Lee Blagg and Leatha Jean McKee. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Bobbie Termeer; children, TR Blagg and Lindsey Blagg; stepfather, Jerry McKee; siblings, Joan Blagg, Fred Blagg and Faith McKee, stepbrother, JR (MaryAnn) McKee; and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. A graduate of The Ohio State University, he retired from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2012. He was passionate about his family, the outdoors, and photography. He was a former leader for Boy Scout Troop 185. His interest in his family's history led him to genealogy as a hobby. He enjoyed biking and raised thousands of dollars for Pelotonia for cancer research. His favorite place to spend time was the family farm in Ironton, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 28, at 10am-12pm at Dublin Community Church, 81 W. Bridge Street, Dublin, Ohio 43017 with a funeral service at 12pm officiated by the Rev. Bob Tussing, reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rich's name may be made to the Pelotonia General Donation Fund at 351 W. Love and prayers to Rich's family. Our sons grew up together and are great friends. I will always remember him being such a great mentor to my son. He was a great neighbor and we have many great memories over the years. He will be greatly missed.

Rich was a dear friend for many years while I lived in Columbus and afterwards. While we were not in recent contact, I always have cherished my memories of time spent with him. He was truly a good person, with a heart of gold, a gentle spirit, a love of life and devoted to his loved ones. When we talked several years ago he shared about his daughter and son with such fierce pride and happiness. He loved his wife with all his heart. I am so sorry that they will now have to go on without him.
