Rich was one of a kind touching the hearts of the Francis family with that beautiful smile which reflected his personality. It was only a few weeks ago that he drove up to the house in his beautiful black truck and brought Tom up to date on his family. Our heart goes out to Kari, Rick and Stephanie and your children and to Melanie , the love of his life. He loved sharing his family photos, was a proud dad, grandpa and and a true and loyal friend. The Edmister Family has know Rich for several years. I remember living on Roys and he and the children lived across the alley. Rick taught me how to swim in his pool.
Our family stayed in touched throughout the years. Keri had my brother Jimmy, Angie and I in her wedding. Melanie and Rich traveled up for our parents surprise birthday parties. So many great memories with Rich.
He will be deeply missed, but live on in our words and hearts.
Our prayers and condolences go out to the entire family.

Life! We've been long together, through pleasant and through cloudy weather.
'Tis hard to part when friends are dear. -
Perhaps 'Twill cost a sigh, a tear.
Then steal away, give little warning.
Choose thine own time.
Say not "Good night".
But, In some brighter clime.
Bid me, "Good morning".
We love you Bink, see you in the morning.

To Rich's family, my deepest sympathies. I only knew Bink for a few short months but it was always a "hoot" to be around him. I only wish I could have a fraction of his gift for working with wood. May God bless you in your loss and may Rich be in the arms of our Lord. Good bye my friend.

I was fortunate to meet Rich 16 years ago when his and my lovely Granddaughter Alyssa was about to be born. That would be the start of many talks and get tothers over the years whether it may be a birthday, holiday, or just a friendly visit. Rich loved to talk about his younger days, especially when he was a speed skater as a teenager. He showed me his original roller skates he used. He was very proud. Rich was a very kind and gentle person, always a smile on his face. He would do anything for anybody. He loved his family, especially his Granddkids. He will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all: Steph, Kari, Rick, Melanie, and the rest of the family. I love you all.

Everything that has been said is true. Rich was a gem of a man, a great family member and a great person all around. He was truley a smile awaiting at all turns and a gentle man at that. I am proud to have known him and am honored that he has been a moment in my life that will not be forgotten. I was honored to have watched most of his grandchildren at one time, and he was a good father and grandfather to his entire family. Rich...you will be missed, but know you are not suffering and you will be with us always. It's not very often you meet someone that you remember the way I will remember you....I'm in hopes that your family is comforted and consoled in that you are in a better place then we are....I will be sure to remember you as a man that set a wonderful example to people in general...xoxoxo

My deepest condolences to the family, especially Kari, Rick, and Steph. Rich and the rest of the Walburns are still the best neighbors I've ever had. Rich's passing, along with my own dad's passing just a couple of years ago, brings back so many wonderful childhood memories. I have an overwhelming urge to listen to some Motown right now. God bless.

I learned so much from Rich whenever I had the chance to help him with various projects. When Rich picked up a his tools he made magic happen. He's a first rate craftsman and a heck of a guy.
