Crombie III, Robert
Robert "Bob" John Crombie III, age 79, of Canal Winchester, passed away on January 20, after a hard-fought battle with COVID-19. Born in Marietta and raised in Nelsonville, the longtime Canal Winchester resident loved all things automotive, enjoyed gardening, antiques, and tinkering with all manner of gadgets. Bob was an avid cook and a two-time winner of the chili cook off at the Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival. Bob is survived by his adoring wife of 59 years, Karen; four loving daughters, Kara Crombie Campbell (Steve Campbell), Kriston Crombie Stotik (Jeffrey Stotik), Cinda Crombie Siegel (Robert Siegel), and Lori Crombie; grandson, Robert Samuel Campbell; granddaughters, Elisabeth Siegel, Caroline Campbell, Audrey Siegel, Claire Siegel; brother, James Crombie (Carla) and nieces. A celebration of life will take place when it is safe to gather. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist others affected by the pandemic at Mid-Ohio Food Collective, 3960 Brookham Dr., Grove City, OH 43123 or at midohiofoodbank.org.
