I'd like to add a note for Paul..I believe your Grandpa is watching and is excited to watch you work the ropes in an industry with change he couldn't have imagined at your age. He probably has all the marketing through technology methods down and wants to tell you how to get it done! I hope a year of Heaven can bring these thoughts joy...I believe it is him.

I first met Bob Senior and the Germain sons when I started my first real job in 1975 at Germain Lincoln Mercury on Hamilton Road in Columbus. For the years I worked there and since I have developed a great respect for all of them. The passing of Bob Sr is with great sorrow, but you should all be so proud of him and celebrate his life's accomplishments. My thoughts are with the entire Germain family during this difficult time.

The Gift of life is precious. When I think your father and Grandfather, I remember a man who understood that and enjoyed a full life, not taking it for granted. Our paths crossed when I was a young man and I really enjoyed what I learned from him. I enjoyed being around him. I was taken by how pleasant he was to me. I was touched by his work ethic and his love for the automotive business. It was great at that early age learning from him. Opportunities arose elsewhere but I often thought of him as a person I admired and respected. I pray he is with God and those that went before him. Find strength together as a family at this difficult time and celebrate his passing. Trust in God's plan for us all and know that in spirit, he can be with all of you, at all times, forever.
He left a beautiful Family, May God bless you all.
