Ronald G. Rickey Sr.

RICKEY Ronald G. Rickey Sr., age 68, of Galloway, passed away suddenly Thursday, April 13, 2006 in the emergency room of Doctors West Hospital, Columbus. He was born February 7, 1938 in Rubyville, Ohio, the son of the late Maxine P. Elliott Rickey and John Wesley Rickey Jr. Ronald was retired from General Motors of Columbus and was a member of the West Jefferson Church of Christ in Christian Union. Survivors include wife, Phyllis M. Butler Rickey whom he married January 20, 1962; two daughters, Lisa (David) Farquhar of Canal Winchester, Rhonda (David) Dick of Columbus; two sons, Ronald G. Rickey Jr. and Tony D. Rickey, both of Galloway; five grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew, Nicholas, Rachel and Joshua; two brothers, Lawrence (Jenny) Rickey of Lucasville and Johnny (Janie) Rickey of Plantation, Florida. Family and friends may call 5-8 p.m. Monday in the RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, West Jefferson, where the Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Paul Burgett officiating. Burial will follow in Alton Cemetery, Galloway.
