Sharon Shelton Skaggs, 9/22/1942. Sharon went to be with the Lord on the 8th of May 2018 after battling lung cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Betty Shelton, brothers Tom and Bill Shelton, ex-husband Arbie Skaggs and infant daughter Mary Elisabeth. She is survived by daughter, Sherri Edinger; and grandchildren, Hannah and Cameron Edinger; plus 7 sisters-in law, 3 brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Sharon graduated from Grandview Heights High School 1960 and Otterbein College 1964. She taught elementary school in Columbus, Ohio and Fort Benning Georgia. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 12 years. Sharon was a member of The Columbus Church of Christ where she loved being active serving others. Calling hours will be Friday, May 18 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Grove City, Ohio from 5-8pm. Funeral Service Saturday, May 19 at 10am with graveside service following at Green Lawn Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to HOPE Worldwide (www.hopeww.org)
