My husband and I both went to LH and knew Steve and his brother Doug. Their father, Clifford, was our principal and a very good man of integrity. Steve grew up to be that same kind of man. I first met Steve and Mary when I was dating my first husband, Jeff Sagar. They are amazing people and I feel blessed to have been part of their lives. The love they had for one another should be an example for us all. While many years have passed since I have talked with them, they were never far from my heart. Mary, I feel for you at this great time of loss but you are right, it should be a celebration of Steve's life and the legacy he left. Love you guys!

I met Steve and Mary when I was dating my future husband, Jeff Sagar. It was a friendship that lasted over the years and one that we enjoyed very much. Our family met the Craig family when we moved to Hilliard 29 years ago. Steve was our son's little league coach and Cub Scout Den Leader. We enjoyed his company anytime we were together. Socially, Steve and Mary would make you feel happy and the laughter and smiles will never be forgotten. The Hugs were tight. Professionally, when I worked with Steve I felt strong, confident and secure. Loosing Steve from our life will be difficult. Steve and his wonderful family are loved by so many. Steve was a gentleman and a scholar.

Mary, we are so sorry for your loss. We have spoken of you and Steve often and missed seeing you at the lake. We are in FL permanently now, but have lots of fond memories of our crazy trips to the Bay for the scholarship fund. Thanks to Steve and you for the memories. Mary, Bill and Katy, What wonderful memories I have of Steve. He would always come into Oties with a smile on his face and was one of the kindest men I have ever known. I loved coming to your house and babysitting Bill and Katy while you were on vacation. I am so sorry for you loss.

My prayers and thought are with the family of Steve...Although I never knew his wife and family, I grew up two doors down from Steve and Doug and spent many happy hours with the "boys" and their parents. I also attended Licking Heights, and remember "Mr. Craig" walking our halls. I am saddened by this loss of a great guy way too young.

Such a shock to learn of Steve's passing - we are so sorry. Steve led our whole family through many challenges throughout the years and always was able to adivse us wisely. For this we're eternally grateful. Besides that, he was just a really great guy and will be so missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Steve was such a wonderful man and remember the fantastic times I had with him. I will always remember how he was one of biggest fans. I could always remember encouraging words from him to go out on the basketball court and play my all. Steve always had a big heart, open arms when you need a hug, or just his laughter to make you smile. Steve will be miss greatly!
