Hi Becky, I never had the opportunity to meet you, but I played tennis with Bill. In the short time that I knew him, I can say he was a super nice person, always happy, positive, and smiling. Every time we had a match he was always there to support us. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bill, I am still in shock and saddened to learn of your unexpected death. Dear buddy, I am not really acquainted with your wife Becky nor your sons, but as I told you on many occasions, you were my longest standing friend and tennis companion since moving to Columbus in summer of '75. We weren't the closest of friends over the years, but you were always my friend, fun to be with and always a joy to others. You made others around you feel good. You will be truly missed and my sympathies and prayers go to your wife, sons, family and the many people whose lives you touched.

I will Miss Bill since he was a major factor in me moving to Naples Florida. He and I played tennis together in Columbus for over twenty years and in Naples for a year or two. He was always a good listener and for all that knew him quite the character. He really enjoyed life and enjoyed Tennis and Golf and being around people. If there was a party Bill wanted to be there. I miss you Bill! My Prayers go out to Becky, Billy and Brian. I know the tennis community that we are a part of down here and in Columbus will miss him dearly.
