Brad Dimmick Obituary
Friends and family are invited to his memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday (March 26) at the Calvary Chapel, 2291 Route 89, Seneca Falls.
Brad's family request donations be directed to either; the American Lung Association, P.O. Box 295, Hamburg, NY 14075 or the American Heart Association, 5488 Sheridan Dr. #300, Williamsville, NY 14221.
Brad was born on April 19, 1952 in Waterloo, the son of the late Clair E.and Teresa J. Sheldon-Dimmick. He was a 1970 graduate of Mynderse Academy. He worked at Goulds Pumps as a welder and later retired from Seneca Iron Works.
He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and just being outdoors. It was rare to see Brad without a fishing pole in his hand. He enjoyed talking politics and never shied away from letting you know his opinion on them. Brad assisted with numerous elections and campaigns in the Town of Seneca Falls. He enjoyed watching football and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. In his later years he enjoyed the peace and fellowship at the Calvary Chapel.
Brad is survived his life partner and best friend, Kathy Mara; her daughter, Favor (Dan) Cabic and son, Aaron Shulz; her grandchildren, Dylan and Dawson Cabic; his sister, Jinny Noone of Seneca Falls; his brother, Greg Dimmick of Waterloo; a special niece, Natasha (Chris) Stefano; a special nephew, Anthony Noone; and several cousins.
Besides his parents, Brad was preceded in death by his sister, Jean (Dimmick) White-Smith.
Brad will be remembered as a kind, gentle and giving man. He will be forever missed.
