Stephen Luigi Piazza was an amazing man, friend, father, husband, and mentor to all. I was blessed to spend many days and nights with him during our Nascar stint and it was a blast. I will miss you dearly Luigi. Thoughts and prayers with the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I've known Steve since 2003 through Rock Financial, Quicken Loans and Bedrock. He was always kind and gracious. Always willing to help where needed. I never got a chance to thank him personally for his support he gave me with getting hired at Bedrock. I' have thanked him often in my prayers and prayed for his recovery...he is no longer in pain. A life taken too early...he will be missed. Sue Whitmer, Staff Accountant with Bedrock/Detroit.

Dear Piazza family - I am truly sorry for your loss. I don't need to tell you that Steve was an amazing man. Honest, sincere, direct and compassionate. Today I celebrate my 17th year anniversary at Quicken Loans. Today we celebrate the man that gave me my opportunity at Rock Financial/Quicken Loans. I will always remember him walking through the Auburn Hills office shouting there's dimes in the chimes!. Rest In Peace Steve. SLP Strong, always.

I first met Steve back in the early 90's @ Rock Financial. He was always a "Class" act and one of the nicest people I've ever known. May he R.I.P.

The sun will never shine as bright since you have left. You have been there for everyone when they needed you the most.
We have been friends for almost 40 years and you are family, there are really no words to describe the loss we all feel.
I will say to you along-with a piece of my heart when you get to heaven have it ready for all of us and give Cathi a hug.
Much love.

I worked with SLP at QL and there are very few people in this world that you meet that makes a lasting impression on you. He was a mentor, a friend and an inspiration. I as well as so many others are truly saddened by his passing.
He will be missed and always remembered from the lessons he taught us all.
I remember that he would call hundreds of people on their birthdays whether he knew you well or not. You always felt special from the SLP birthday call.
I remember SLP being pushed into the pool at the Hyatt in San Diego during our party for the Spartans/NC game on the USS Vinson aircraft carrier at the San Diego Naval Base. Even then he was smiling and laughing in his soaking wet suit.
He always knew someone's inner talent and knew if they were not being used properly and made every effort to insure you were in the right position to reach your potential. That is a man who loved life, lived life and cared for his fellow man.
We can all strive to be more like SLP and we would never reach his level. That is how special this man was.
My prayers for your family in this difficult time.
Sincerely
Robert Noble

I worked a few months with Piazza. For his position at Quicken Loans, he was one of the most approachable. He often came to our area to ask how we were doing and joke around with us. He was always laughing, he was always positive and he had such a contagious attitude. He will be truly missed and my thoughts and prayers are with the family.
