Irene was God's glorious boquet of fragrant flowers planted in the hearts of many people privilged to have known her. She was God's sparkling jewel who, like brilliant glitter, continuously poured love and caring into the hearts of others. Irene's gorgeous smile and vibrant laughter was refreshed in my soul when she and Dick were dining at AJ's Armenian restaurant. Horace, Dolores, our granddaughter, Tiffany, and son Douglas (now deceased) were also dining there. What a marvellous reflection we had of our incredible times at Fresno High football games when both Chuck and Doug were star players on the Varsity team. Irene spearheaded bus trips bursting with laughter for out of town games.

How we cherish the good times and the incredible memories. Believe that our majestic Lord God will give you holy peace, strength and comfort. Ask Him to give you faith in Jesus who will embrace you with pure unconditional love as He holds your hand and walks with you through this period of pure grief and sorrow. Our Lord wants to replace sadness with joy and hope of grand reunion with Irene in Heaven. Our love and prayers are attached.

I am one of many cousins who cherish many memories of Irene. Until recently she attended our "cousins lunch" once a month at "Soup and Scoops" in Clovis, owned by another cousin, Cora Shipley. We miss that beautiful lady who was a joy to be in the same room with.
