JAMES THOMAS Obituary
James Watts Thomas, age 93, son of the late James Watts Sr. and Beulah Hendrix Thomas, husband of the late Alzeta Thomas, Army Veteran with World War II, Retired Lab Technician with the University of Florida and retired employee with Clayton Johnson Law Firm, left this earthly scene on Saturday, August 13, 2016, during a brief stay at Haven Hospice/ E.T. York Care Center.
The Homegoing Services will be held 10:00AM Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church (Arredondo Community/Gainesville, FL) where Rev. Christopher Worlds is Pastor, with Rev. John Banks delivering the Eulogy. Burial will follow at Patterson Community Cemetery. Mr. Thomas will be viewed at the Funeral Home Friday 2:00-7:00PM - At the Church Saturday 30 Minutes prior to the Services - And with the Processional.
Fond Memories will remain in the hearts of: sisters - Leola McRae, Edna Peoples, Willie Mae Thomas and Beulah Douglas (Juliette McCoy preceded him in death); (brothers - Monculee Watts, Leon Thomas, Eddie Thomas and Leafus Thomas preceded him in death); sister-in-law - Cynthia Thomas of Gainesville, FL; a host of nieces & nephews (with nephews - Monculee McRae Sr. and John Wilson as his Caretakers); cousins; & friends.
