JOYCE LaBOY Obituary
Live Oak, FL - Joyce M. LaBoy, 80, went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2014, in Live Oak, FL. She was born in Live Oak on October 5, 1932, to Oma and Thelma Sheffield Meeks.
Joyce had been living in Live Oak for the past few years, and prior to that lived in Gainesville since 1980. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, and had been active in many organizations. First and foremost in Joyce's life was her love for the Lord, her family and for those of you who knew Joyce knew she was an avid FL Gator fan.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Monico LaBoy, Sr., son David, grandson, Taylor, brother, William R. Meeks and her sister, Frania Carroll.
She is survived by 3 sons, Richard, Monico "Monty" Jr., and Ralph, a daughter Betty Adazzio, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Gainesville, FL.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.

Dixon and Joyce Walker I wish that we had known sooner, we would have been there. I loved Joyce. We have known her for 28 years. Joyce was the loveliest person. She was full of excitement, love and caring for everyone. I lost track of her when she left Gainesville and was unable to find her.She was quite the lady and quite the friend. It brings tears to my eyes to that I will never see her again.
