When I see Judy's smile I remember her as Judy Sykes, with a mouthful of braces! I also have had the sound of her that morphed into a giggle. Judy took this lonely teenage friend and brought me into her joy. Being now 76 years old, I am quite sure it won't be long before I can tell her how much I loved her.

I am not sure why I got this in the year 2024. While In San Angelo, Judy was my #1 buddy who, while willing to stay in the background, provided for me joy, and stability. She was the best visible expression of what "happy" looked like, on this earth. I have tried in vain to find where she is, and now I know. She can be found in heaven and some day I will grab her and love her back for all that she generously have to me.

I know that it is late. I have tried to "find" Judy over the years and just learned of this. I knew Judy in San Angelo, Texas, one of my main "happy places" in my life and that was partly due to Judy. Her happy face and excitement just over LIFE became a personal standard for myself, always wanting to "be just like her" in many ways. She truly did light up my life during yes...JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL which years are usually the "years from hell" for most of us. I am glad that she was present in her family's life and in her friend's lives...and am quite sure that she "bettered" everyone's life with whom she came into contact including mine.
