Anthony Molnar Obituary
MANSFIELD: Big Heart! Big Mind! Big Smile! Anthony Molnar was a kind and sensitive and loving young man who was actually too sensitive for this world. His Big Heart led him to purchase fast food and return to give the meal to the homeless he had encountered. His Big Mind was creative in his short stories and responsive writings to the deep allegorical Christian fiction, the very meat of a Christ-follower, which he voraciously read. And his room-brightening Big Smile instantly communicated love and acceptance.
Anthony went to be with the Lord early Friday morning July 25, 2014 following an accident at his home. He was 25.
Born Anthony John Molnar September 21, 1988 in Mansfield, he was graduated from Lexington High School in 2007 and was pursuing his degree in English at The Ohio State University.
Anthony was well spoken. He had worked as a salesman at Best Buy and GameStop, and was currently serving in the men's department at Nordstrom's.
A touch on the eccentric, Anthony had an analytic and creative mind. He liked playing the guitar and had a magnetic personality. His absolute love for animals attracted them to him, with cats Mittens and Sammy and dogs Jack and Annabel swarming his feet.
His loving family include his parents Dr. Kenneth and Rae Molnar of Mansfield; brothers Michael Molnar and Nicholas Molnar both of Mansfield; maternal grandmother Sue Lukesic of Amherst; aunts and uncles Donna (Rick) Vargin of Struthers, Marlene (Tim) Williams of Cranberry Township, PA, and John (Terrie) Molnar of Sagamore Hills, cousins Peter, Theresa, Amanda, Cassandra, Alexis, Sydney; and so many friends.
His grandparents preceded him in death Leonard Lukesic and John & Louise Molnar.
The Molnar family will receive friends Monday, July 28, 2014 from 1 to 3 and 4 to 7 p.m. in Crossroads Community Church, 1188 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, where a worship service, giving glory to God for the gift of Anthony Molnar, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Tim Armstrong will speak. Contributions in Anthony's memory to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) may be made at the church. The Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home is honored to serve the Molnar family. I cannot express in words how much sorrow I feel for the loss of Anthony!! God allowed him to touch my life at Kroger when he worked there. We worked together.
