Olga Darico Obituary
Olga G. Darico , 91, of Vernon died on December 2, 2017. She was the widow of William M. Darico. She was a resident of Vernon since 1947 when she married Bill Darico and they moved into the home Bill built on Bolton Road. Olga graduated from Manchester High School, class of 1943. She worked for the Town of Vernon as recording secretary, for many town commissions and the Vernon Board of Education. She worked full time as Administrative Secretary at the Water Pollution Control Authority from 1982-1997. She leaves her children, William (Bill) A. Darico and his wife Pat; 2 daughters, Linda Darico and Holly Darico and her husband Dr. Robert Crabtree; her sister in law, Emily Darico and several nieces and a nephew. Burke-Fortin Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. There will be no visiting hours and burial will be held privately at the Darico plot at Valley Falls Cemetery in Vernon. Olga was like a mother to me and I'll never forget her many kindnesses. May these memories bring peace to Billy, Linda, and Holly whom I remember fondly as well.
