Dear Carol, So very sorry to learn of Peter's passing on. Our 20 year friendship enriched my life & those of my piano students. Grateful you were blessed with a renaissance man - poetry, visual art & music gifts. Peter was a most generous & wise piano educator mentor to me . I still have one of his prints that seems to capture a piano/harp hybrid. I have enjoyed seeing Peter's latest creations at Open Studio Hartford. He will be remembered and missed. Some lives are measured more by their height than by their length... Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, but for those who love, time is eternity. ( Van Dyke) May your memories together bring peace & comfort to you for eternity.

Too many poets and too any books to name. A man of literature. His influence is bound perfectly an bleeds over to the fore-edge of 20th century consciousness.

Peter was a poet and publisher of much adventurous and always interesting if not excellent poetry--his tastes seemed independent in ways that were consistent and consistently surprising. (An encouragement when I was getting into the editing and publishing business myself.) Peter also steadfastly supported young/ new writers. He will be missed. All my condolences to friends and family.

Saddened to hear of Peter's passing. He will be sorely missed in the art and poetry communities. He had a deep, creativivity, compassion and unique intelligence. Peter had an extraordinary drive to produce his work. He supported the work of others personally and through Potes and Poets. Sincere condolences to his wife and companion Carol. May you find peace.
