I am so sorry to learn of Dr Rowan's passing. I googled her to share a reference with a friend and learned of her early death. I attribute Dr Rowan for my sobriety as she was the only medical person to suggest I try AA to help with my unsuccessful attempts at quitting drinking or even facing my alcoholism. I always enjoyed our little bit of chat at the beginning of sessions where we would talk about celebrities or ny politics or anything that was current. RIP Dr Rownan.

I was shocked and saddened to read the news of Amy's passing tonight, October 11, 2020. I had no idea. Amy treated my son for many years, for ADHD. She was such an excellent doctor. She was so careful, and thorough. She spent time, getting to know him, and us, and his strengths. She was so gracious with her time. We were especially grateful for how careful she was with prescribing medicine. She checked everything so carefully, and that helped her to make wise decisions for her patients. I was looking for her # to give to someone, and was saddened to learn that she had passed. I send my deepest condolences to her family. She was a loving person, and a compassionate professional. She helped our family immensely. My deepest sympathies to all who knew and loved her.

Shock and saddened to learn of the death of Amy Rowan. Our son Bret was her first patient in her Bryn Mawr office. Bret was also her patient at Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia. He is now 33 years old. She not only treated him, but we as a family became close. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Rowan and Sloate families.
