Dear Auritt Family - In going through Facebook, I just saw the very sad news that dear Shelly passed away. I had no idea, and was so shocked and sad to see this. Shelly and Len were wonderful neighbors in Overbrook Park, and it was always a pleasure to run into each other and catch up. I am so sad to hear this news. Doubt that you will remember me from Overbrook but I just saw the notice about Shelly from Jerry Magill (I don't follow Facebook much). I had to say how sorry I was to read Shelly's name on his list. While we were no more than classmates, my memory of the two of you was very strong, for some reason.
I remember you both as these really nice, very intelligent students who were kind TO everyone and liked BY everyone, and how nice it was that you found each other! I am sorry for your loss and hope, that things have gotten a little easier.

Just like our fellow classmate Randi below, I also very belatedly learned--just yesterday from our Overbrook HS reunion bulletin--that Shelly had died. Not only did I very appreciate the fact that you, Len, & Shelly maintained a long, close friendship with your neighbor--my late cousin Evelyn Kalick, but I am also very likely to never forget that Shelly was my very first (!) date when we went to a party together back in...6th grade.
After seeing you both at our last OHS reunion in 2018, we will surely be thinking of Shelly at the next one, as we continue to express our belated but sincere condolence for your loss.
