Randy Foltz Obituary
Randy Foltz, 65, of Lincoln, passed away August 11, 2025.
Randy was born on November 23, 1959, in Lincoln, to Ronald and Shirley (Morrison) Foltz. He graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School in 1978 and then attended UNL. Randy joined the Air Force and spent 20 years in the service. After he retired from the Air Force, he moved to Kansas City where he worked as a Federal Police Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank. He retired from that position two years ago and moved to Lincoln to be near family. Randy enjoyed football, especially the Chiefs and Huskers and he also liked to garden, work around the house and watch movies.
Randy is survived by his mother, Shirley Foltz; and brother, Scott (Sue) Foltz; and sister, Shari Magnuson (Bob Weskamp); nieces, Ashley Foltz, Steff Taylor, Sara Hilger and Paige Jones; and nephews, Brandon Foltz and Jacob Weskamp; great-nieces, Zoe Magnuson, Hazel Hilger and Donna Jo "DJ" Cook; great-nephews, Grayson and Knox Jones; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ron Foltz.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, August 15, at Butherus Maser and Love funeral home, 4040 A St, Lincoln.
Visitation with the family present will be on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m., at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Randy was the type of person that was quiet, if he didn't know you he was very quiet, but once he got to know you, he always had something to talk about. I got to know Randy when I spent time on second shift at the FRB. Randy and I would talk about football, gardening and anything outside of work.
He will be missed. Rest in Peace my Friend.

My condolences to the Foltz Family. I worked with Randy for several years at the FRB in Kansas City. I am also a fellow Husker, and Randy and I had many great conversations about all the 'Nebraska stuff'--football, Runza, etc. He was a good coworker, and always brought a unique sense of humor. Rest In Peace, Randy.
